Shipping Policy


1. Shipping Method

Carrier: Japan Post Co., Ltd. (International Air Packet / EMS)
Handling Time: Orders are usually processed and shipped within 3 business days.
Estimated Delivery: (IAP) 14 to 28 / (EMS) 10 to 16 business days after shipment. However, for customers in Italy and Spain, delivery may take around one month, as customs clearance procedures can sometimes be very time-consuming.
Please note that customs processing or local postal service delays in your country may extend this period.

2. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (DDU)

Terms of Delivery: All international orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis. Product prices and shipping fees displayed at checkout do NOT include any local taxes, VAT, or customs fees.All these charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Important Notice for EU Customers (Under €150):
Following the cancellation of the €150 duty-free exemption in the EU, please note that VAT, local postal handling fees, and a fixed customs duty of €3 per HS code will be charged by your local customs or postal authority upon delivery, even for lower-value orders. All these charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Unpaid Customs / Refusal of Delivery: If Items are returned to Japan because the buyer has refused to pay customs duties or taxes, or has refused to accept delivery, an additional delivery charge will be required to have the items re-sent. Furthermore, even if you do not wish to have the items re-sent, the purchase price will not be refunded.
No Under-Valuation: We strictly comply with international trade laws. We cannot declare a lower value on the invoice (Under-valuation) or mark the item as a "Gift."

3. Liaison and Coordination with Customs and the Delivery Company

Submission of documents to Customs: Please ensure you respond promptly whenever Customs requests the submission of documents. We will issue an electronic copy of the commercial invoice, which you should submit to Customs as required.
Checking the Progress of Customs Clearance: We are unable to check the progress of customs clearance with the customs authorities. Please contact the customs authorities directly regarding the progress of customs clearance.
Checking Delivery Status, etc.: Please contact the courier company directly regarding the delivery status of goods within the purchaser’s country of residence or requests for redelivery.

 

4. Antique/Used Camera & Lens Policy

Lithium-ion Batteries: Due to international aviation safety regulations (IATA), lithium-ion batteries can only be shipped if they are installed inside the camera body. We cannot ship individual or loose spare batteries. 
Pre-shipment inspection: To ensure the quality of our second-hand items, we carry out multiple inspections.

Items packaging: We will place the items in an airtight bag together with moisture-proof material and then pack them using ample cushioning material. In the unlikely event that the items are damaged or do not function properly, please contact us immediately. We will assess the situation and take prompt and appropriate action.
